About Amita Monal Fadia
Amita Monal Fadia is an acclaimed sculptor and painter whose creative journey spans over three decades. A graduate of Sheth C.N. Fine Arts (1990) with a Post-Diploma from M.S. University, Baroda (1991), her art blends timeless craftsmanship with contemporary expression.

Her mastery in sculpture has earned her prestigious recognition, including the Lalitkala Academy Award (1st Prize in Sculpture). Her celebrated works include the bronze bust of Health Minister of Gujarat - Mr. Babubhai Vasanwala, monumental bronze statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Nadiad, and the iconic public installation “Aquatic Dance” at Parimal Garden, Ahmedabad.

Alongside her sculptures, Amita has built an equally strong reputation as a painter. Her solo exhibitions at Lalitkala Academy, Contemporary Art Gallery, and Jeevantara Resort have received wide acclaim. She has also contributed to numerous group shows from 1990 through 2025.

Beyond her practice, Amita has been honored by JITO Ahmedabad and served as a judge at Gujarat University’s Youth Festival for over five years, inspiring the next generation of artists.
